Blush Box Start-up

During a subject in Initiatives and Entrepreneurship, I, alongside a transdisciplinary team developed a subscription based service that delivers personalised boxes once a month to cater to an individual's period needs. These boxes contain period products outsourced from small sustainable businesses, alongside educational resources to help individuals learn about their bodies in a safe and fun way. We proposed an initial ‘My First Period box’ with clear, instructional ‘how to’s’ regarding the usage of period products, alongside materials that explains what is happening with their body during their cycle, and how to manage their period symptoms. This takes away the awkwardness of going out on their own and having the pressure to educate themselves on what product works for them, for those especially who don't have that parental figure in their lives.
